Connecting an Integration
Volana connects to the tools where your work already lives. Link one and its items appear in a panel you can pull from: dropping real tasks onto your board without retyping a thing.
Connect, then import
Connecting is a one-time OAuth handshake. After that, the provider’s panel lists your items; pull any one onto a day and Volana creates a task linked back to the source.
ClickUp
Imports ClickUp tasks
- Open Settings → Connected apps and press Connect next to a provider.
- Approve access in the provider’s window: Volana stores only an encrypted token.
- Browse the provider panel for the item you want.
- Drag it onto a day (or click to add it): it lands as a scheduled task.
The “In Volana” mark
Once an item is on your board, its row shows a small Volana logo mark. That’s how you tell at a glance what’s already imported, so you never add the same thing twice. Deleting the task clears the mark again.
Inside an item
Clicking a card instead of dragging it opens a full detail view, not just a row: status, due date, priority, and whoever it’s assigned to, plus the item’s complete description read straight from the source. Every provider’s modal follows this same shape, with its own properties, comments, and actions layered on top; each provider’s page covers those specifics.
Finalize Q3 roadmap deck
Pull together the roadmap slides for the Q3 planning review: shipped wins, the two slipped items, and what’s next for integrations.
Changes flow both ways where it makes sense: inbound webhooks keep the panel fresh, so closing an issue or finishing a task upstream is reflected in Volana in real time.
