Undo and Redo
Every change you make is reversible. Delete a task, move a block, or reschedule your day, and one keystroke puts it back. Undo works across the whole app, not just the last thing you typed.
Undo anything
Made a change you didn’t mean to? Press ⌘Z and Volana reverses it. A deleted task returns, a moved block slides back, a reschedule unwinds. Press ⌘⇧Z to redo it again.

- Do something: create, move, complete, or delete.
- Press ⌘Z to undo it. The board updates instantly.
- Press ⌘⇧Z to redo if you change your mind again.
What you can undo
Undo and redo cover the actions that change your plan, not just typing. Each press walks one step further back through your history, so you can unwind several changes in a row and redo them just as easily.
- Creating, deleting, or completing a task, event, or Zen block.
- Moving or resizing a block on the calendar, or dragging a task to a new day.
- Bumping a task to another day, and rolling it back to where it was.
- Editing a task's fields: due date, priority, tags, repeats, or subtasks.
- Dragging a backlog item onto a day, and returning it to the backlog.
- A whole-day reschedule from Luna, undone as a single step.
Text edits undo normally
While you’re typing in a field, ⌘Z undoes your text the way it always does. Volana’s app-wide undo takes over once you click out.
Undo reaches across surfaces. A change you made on the calendar can be undone from the board, and the other way around. You don’t have to remember where you did it.
