The Task Menu
Every task has a three-dots menu in its detail modal, opened from the top bar. It holds every action you can take on a task in one place, from favoriting to deleting it.
Watch the walkthrough below to see each option highlighted in place, then use the reference underneath to look one up.

Favorite and duplicate
These two sit together at the top of the menu, above everything else.
- Favorite pins the task somewhere you can find it quickly.
- Duplicate creates a full copy of the task, including its subtasks.
Quick actions
The largest group covers everything you’d do while working the task.
- Ask Luna opens a chat scoped to just this task.
- Attach Link saves a URL alongside the task.
- Create GitHub issue turns the task into a real GitHub issue. It only appears once GitHub is connected under Integrations.
- Add to milestone (or Remove from milestone if it’s already in one) makes this task a step toward a bigger goal.
- Copy page contents copies the task’s title, properties, subtasks, and description to your clipboard.
- Rollover is a checkbox: on means an unfinished task automatically moves to the next day; off means it stays where you put it.
- Task type switches whether this item is a regular task, a milestone, or another type.
- Calendar (when you have more than one connected) picks which calendar this task’s time block writes to.
- Print opens a print-friendly version of the task.
Delete
Delete removes the task. Like every change in Volana, it’s undoable, so a stray delete is never permanent by accident.
Looking for the rest of the modal? See The task detail modal, which covers the top bar this menu opens from, the title, properties, subtasks, description, and attachments.
