Notifications
A bell in your sidebar keeps a running feed of what happened while you weren’t looking, and small nudge toasts speak up in the moment, when Luna changes something for you or something needs your attention.
The notifications menu
The bell sits at the bottom of your sidebar, next to your profile. A badge shows how many notifications are unread, and opening it lists them newest first: a plan-your-day reminder, a heads-up that Luna rescheduled some tasks, a finished recap, a completed milestone. Unread rows carry a small dot and a light tint; clicking one clears both.
- Click the bell to open the menu.
- Unread notifications stand out with a dot and a tinted row.
- Click a notification to mark it read, or use Mark all read to clear everything at once.
- Click the bell again to close the menu and get back to your day.
In-app nudges
Some moments are worth surfacing right away instead of waiting in the feed. These show up as a small toast in the top-right corner of the app: a plan-your-day prompt at the start of your working window, a smart reschedule summary after Luna adjusts your day, an explanation the first time a task rolls over to tomorrow, and a heads-up if your calendar connection drops.
Plan your day
Take a moment to set up today’s schedule and priorities.
Smart reschedule
12 tasks were rescheduled to fit your day.
Task rollover
Each night, unfinished day tasks move to tomorrow. Turn it off per task, or change the default in Settings.
Google Calendar disconnected
Volana stopped syncing because access expired. Reconnect to resume two-way sync.
A nudge only interrupts once. Dismiss it and it’s gone for that moment; “Don’t show again” retires it for good.
Acting on a nudge
Every nudge carries at least one real action, not just a dismiss button. Reconnect a dropped calendar, jump into Plan for the day, or simply acknowledge a change Luna already made, all without leaving what you were doing. The walkthrough above ends with exactly that: a smart reschedule toast appears, and acting on it confirms the change and clears the toast.
Nothing here is a dead end
A calendar-reconnect nudge links straight to Settings → Integrations, and a plan-your-day nudge opens Plan directly, so acting on a nudge always lands you somewhere useful.
